Homework 4: Social and Ethical Responsiblity
Objectives
When you have finished this homework,  you should have demonstrated your ability to analyze a problem, describing security flaws and possible legal issues associated with a computer system.
 Discussion
In order to tighten campus security, the University has decided to place monitoring devices at all automobile entrances to campus.  These devices include a camera which takes a picture of the driver and a second camera that takes a picture of the license plate.  The system will transmit these images over a wireless network to a central location where the images, along with meta-information will be stored in a database.  The database will be available to all officers on the campus police force, but only on computers physically located in the police station.
   -  Provide a list of potential security flaws associated with this system.
   
 -  Describe two of these security flaws in detail.
   
 -  Describe how these two security flaws can be mitigated.
   
 -  Provide a list of potential legal and or ethical issues associated with this system.
   
 -  Describe one of these legal/ethical issues in detail.
