Notes

• div, 7.5.4 of Jorgensen
• dividend/divisor = quotent
• This is just a quick visit, we will be back.
• Intel requires the dividend to be twice as big as the divisor
• Place the upper portion of the dividend in the D register.
• Place the lower portion of the dividend in the A register.
• The divisor is either a memory location or a register of the correct size.
• The quotent will be in the A register
• The remainder will be in the D register
